Elijah started with John and the team this year. Straight away they made him feel at ease. The program is structured, yet also allows for Elijah to be who he is, a five year old boy with ants in his pants. All of the teachers show such respect for their craft, and respect for the job that they have, teaching young boys and girls to become young men and women, and also respect the craft of martial arts. I would highly recommend to anyone young or old. Best thing we have done for our son, and will be doing for our daughter once she is old enough.
Our son Max started with John and his team at the beginning of term one this year, and we couldn't be happier and prouder of the way John, Joel and Steve conduct their classes. Given the way they're structured and implemented, I know the kids all get a lot out of the lessons, and they're done at a level where everyone can learn and achieve at the same rate. I have had my two daughters (3 & 4 yrs) in the Lil Dragons class for six months now and they absolutely love it. Sempai Joel is fantastic with the kids and they always have lots of fun. My 3 year old has dyspraxia (she's basically non-verbal) however the structure and the consistency of the classes has given her great confidence in herself. We look forward to every class and love watching our girls develop new skills, improve their concentration and learn about discipline. I can highly recommend SCMA to anyone considering putting their children into classes there.

Frequently Asked Questions
At what age do children start sparring?
It depends on their rank. In theory, they could start doing it at age 5 or 6. ONLY if they had completed the Little Dragons first but usually its around 7 ½ or 8 years of age.
Can I swap between different days and times?
Students can swap between days, just not programs.
How large are the class sizes?
Class sizes rarely go over 20 and we maintain strict student: teacher ratio.
